Terms of use

Who we are

HouseFair is run by Yassine Ezza in England. You can reach us at apollon20220@gmail.com. By creating or joining a house, you agree to these terms.

What HouseFair does

HouseFair helps people who share a home keep track of chores and suggests whose turn is next, based on what each person has actually done. It is a helpful tool, not a referee: the suggestions depend on what your housemates log, and we can’t check that a chore was really done.

Your house

Free plan and HouseFair Plus

The free plan includes up to 4 housemates and 1 active chore. HouseFair Plus is an optional subscription for one house: unlimited housemates and chores (fair use: up to 50 housemates and 200 chores), phone reminders, real collection days and calendar sync, full history and monthly reports, planned time away, history export and house colours. In the UK it costs £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year. The price shown at checkout, in your currency, is the one you pay.

Tips

“Buy me a coffee” tips are voluntary one-off payments to support HouseFair. They don’t unlock any features. If you tipped by mistake, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund it.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment.

Availability and changes

We work to keep HouseFair running but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features. If we make a change that affects paying houses, we’ll tell you first and you can cancel. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We’re not responsible for disagreements between housemates or for chores that don’t get done. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn’t allow it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please email us first; we’ll try to sort it out.
